Early settlers of Brooklyn Township included the Brainard, Fish, Clark, Young, Barber, and Foote families. Persons represented include major shareholders Josiah Barber, Charles Hoyt, Richard Lord, and Luke Risley, and presidents William Bainbridge Castle, J.F.
